Fire Door Installation & Fitting, Ensuring Safety & Compliance
Having your fire doors professionally installed is just as important as choosing the right doors. A poorly fitted fire door won’t provide the protection it’s designed for, putting lives, property and compliance at risk. That’s why it’s vital to use experienced, competent installers who follow all relevant safety standards and work to Building Regulations.
If you need expert fire door installation, we’re here to help. Our team ensures your fire doors are installed correctly, fully compliant, and built to last.
Fire Door Inspection, Helping You Stay Compliant & Protect Lives
Fire doors play a vital role in protecting lives and preventing fire spread, but they can only do their job if they’re well-maintained and regularly inspected. The frequency of inspections depends on several factors including the buildings fire risk assessment and the Fire Safety England Regulations 2022, for example, a communal fire door in a residential building with a height of 11 metres or more must be inspected quarterly.
Under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, the responsible person in your building must ensure fire doors are checked regularly, repaired when necessary and kept fit for purpose.
A professional fire door inspection will assess whether your doors meet compliance standards and identify any remedial work required. If issues are found, our inspection report will outline whether a door can be repaired or needs replacing, helping you stay compliant and ensuring maximum fire protection.

In addition, we conduct fire stopping and compartmentation work. We install fire-stopping to breaches, returning compartments to the required levels of protection. This ranges from coating systems to filling breaches in compartment walls and ceilings with intumescent materials, reinstating the necessary level of fire protection.
All services are delivered with consideration to the requirements of the Fire Safety Act 2021, which reinforces the importance of fire door maintenance and compartmentation in safeguarding life and property.
Fire Doors work together in an integrated system in order to preserve life and property by:
- Compartmentalising a fire; and
- Protecting the means of escape through the building
For example, to protect a corridor from rooms opening on to it, or a stairwell from the corridor(s) it serves. In serving to compartmentalise a building and/or preserve an escape route, the function of a fire door, when closed, is to provide resistance to smoke/fire for a minimum specified length of time.
